painted to the interior with a large solitary blue enamelled iris and its long leafy stems, decorated and gilt to the exterior with a geometric hexagonal-fret design incorporating stylised kiku and peony flowerheads with foliage, illegible impressed mark to base -- 8 5/16in. (21.2cm.) diam.
