A Set of Fourteen Silver-Gilt and Cloisonné Enamel Spoons
The large spoons mark of Nikolai Alexeev, Moscow, circa 1890, the small spoons Cyrillic maker's mark 'VA', Moscow, 1896-1908
Each large spoon with circular bowl enameled with varicolor stylized floral and foliate motifs within a turquoise pellet border, the handle of tapering square section, the terminal enameled with stylized flowers and geometric motifs; each small spoon with pear-shaped bowl enameled with shaded varicolor stylized floral and geometric motifs within a white pellet border, the handle with twist stem, the terminal enameled with geometric motifs; in fitted wooden case with silk lining stamped 'I.E. Morozov St. Petersburg' beneath the Imperial warrant, the cover with silver plaque engraved with monogram, marked on stems
