A set of three Dutch Aalmis Rotterdam manganese biblical tile pictures
Circa 1770, 'De Blompot' workshop
One depicting the banishment of Hagar and Ishmael (Gen. 21:9-21), after an etching by Josef Wachner, inspired by a painting by I.G. Zocchi, within an elaborate pedimented and garlanded rocaille border; one depicting Joseph sold into slavery by his brothers by the well (Gen 37: 1-36); and one decorated with the warrior Jephtah and his daughter (Judges 11), further with twisted rope border and rosette corners
