Painted with Chinese figures on a black ground and each stamped 'A SUTCLIFFE 49 & 51 THOMAS ST. MANCHESTER' to the underside, one numbered 17 and another '13' with an old paper label for 'H. Woollam, Family Grocer, Nantwich
