A SEVRES BLEU CELESTE AND PALE-GREEN GROUND TWO-HANDLED CUP AND SAUCER (GOBELET 'A L'ETRUSQUE' ET SOUCOUPE)
Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letters NN for 1790, painter's mark for Bulidon, gilder's mark for Mirey
Decorated in the neo-classic style with mottled turquoise curved trapazoid panels bordered with a gilt-edged steel blue band decorated with yellow laurel, reserved and enriched in colours with arabesques and grotesques centering variant urns and vases, those on the saucer alternate with three dark puce medallions painted in yellow with a classical figure, the cup mouth and foot and the saucer rim and emplacement with a gilt-edged pale-green band painted in black with stylized husks
