A closely related example is in the Pron collection, Turin (E. Quaglino, Il Piemonte: Mobili dal XV all'inzio del XIX secolo, Milan, 1966, p. 112). Another similar pair of small commodes, with identical handles and apron and angle mounts, as well as with similar brass fillets between the drawers, was sold anonymously, Christie's Rome, 27 November 1990, lot 141.
