Lot Essay

John Mood continued his father's business and worked between 1813-1864. He also worked as a minister. A twelve sided cup and saucer by John Mood, c. 1850-1860 is illustrated in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Southern Silver, 1968, I-13-A.
