A silver figure of Shakyamuni
Tibet, circa 15th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with his hands in bhumisparsamudra, dressed in a sheer sanghati with beaded hems, the face with heavy-lidded eyes centered by a raised urna and flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair in tight curls over the ushnisha and topped with a knop, the base sealed with a double-vajra
