BIDAR, INDIA, 17TH CENTURY
Rising from conical faceted foot through round ribbed bulbous body and tapering neck with pronounced collar to circular faceted mouth with flaring rim, 'S' shaped handle with hinge attached, lid and spout now lost, vertical bands of silver inlaid scrolling lotus flowers on base and body, ribs on body and neck decorated with bands of floral scrolls, base of neck with pronounced moulded floral petal design attached on the sholder, extensive loss of inlay
