A Silver Mounted Cut-glass Wine Jug
Marked Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, circa 1895, with scratched inventory number 6654, with later French control marks
Of cylindrical form, the spreading glass body cut with a vertical pattern, the collar mount with chased, stippled ground, classical foliate frieze, within milled and gadrooned borders, the hinged cover with foliate bud finial, tubular handle, with Russian presentation inscriptions inside the cover and rim, marked on mount and inside cover
11½ in. (29 cm.) high
The inscription reads: '1896. Moscow/Wrangel. Vereshchagin. Bunting. Poguliaev. Lefler. Guijitskii.' (in the cover)
'To Vsevolod Evgenievich Konair' (on the rim).
