Rectangular, with cut-corners to the upper angles, the lower section forming two feet, mounted with a rosette at each corner, with a holly wood plaque in beaded and husk silver frame between the upper rosettes, the center of the panel recessed and with a silver palmette frieze above, marked on frieze mount

Ivan [Johan] Mikhailovich Antony (1853-1938) was born in the provinces of Latvia and worked for Fabergé starting in 1898. In 1907 he began working for Fabergé in Odessa and he later became the Manager of the Jewelery department in the St. Petersburg shop. He was one of five nominal shareholders when the firm closed in 1918. Shortly after the revolution he returned to Latvia, where he lived until his death in Riga.
