Marks of Carl Tegelsten and Nicholls and Plincke, St. Petersburg, 1837
Comprising a coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl, and cream jug; all shaped circular on four scroll feet with gilt interiors and reeded baluster sides, the borders chased with rocaille and scrolling foliage, the spouts, handles and finials applied with foliage, berries and flowerheads, the handles with ivory insulators, the shaped rectangular tray with leaf-banded reeded border and rocaille handles, all engraved with a coat-of-arms, the sugar tongs with lion's paw terminals and French import marks, all fully marked, some with scratch weights
