A SILVER WIRE-INLAID BRONZE FIGURE OF GUANYIN
17TH CENTURY
The Goddess of Mercy is shown seated holding a scroll in her right hand. Her robes, which fall gracefully around her body, are inlaid in silver wire with clouds and on the back with a Shisou mark. The base is inscribed with Yuanhe sannian zaozhi (made in the 3rd year of Yuanhe).
