Qianlong incised seal mark and of the period (1736-1795)
With bulbous body, tapering neck and galleried mouth rim, covered overall with a finely speckled dark olive-green glaze, including the base surrounding the tortoiseshell-glazed mark
7 5/8in. (19.4cm.) high

Lot Essay

Compare the similar vase with the more usual teadust glaze, and Qianlong mark illustrated in Porcelain from the Tianjin Municipal Museum, Hong Kong, 1993, no. 162. Another is illustrated by R.
