The vase of flattened baluster form carved in high relief and undercut around the sides with a boy holding a fruiting peach branch as he stands on one foot on an outcropping of rock at the base, the other foot supported by a leaf of a tree to the other side bearing both peaches and a pomegranate highlighted by apple-green color, as is a leaf of the fruiting branch on the cover on which perches a bird

Provenance
Acquired in Hong Kong in the 1950s, and thence by descent within the family.
