The figure carved seated dressed in loosely draped monastic garb, holding a scroll in his right hand and holding on to the tip of his belt with the other, the bald head with expressive features, bony skull and bushy eyebrows, moustache and beard, the robe incised and gilt with shou characters, a crane medallion and cloud swirls, the stone of pale beige colour with liver-red streaking and pale grey inclusions
