The scrolling borders with large flowerheads and the thin undulating twigs bearing equally large flowers arranged in quincunx formation are characteristic of the Bukhara region. Two susanis displaying the same borders and thin swaying tendrils with large blooms are attributed mid to second half 19th century (Suzani. Central Asian Embroideries, pp. 16-17, fig. 7 and 8).
