oval box, the cover and base enamelled with oval reserves of wavy outline, painted with bouquets of rose, peonies, tulips, daffodils and other flowers, that on the cover against an opaque turquoise-blue ground, that on the base against an opaque lime-green ground, both surrounded by an opaque rose band engraved with a green garland of blue forget-me-nots, the sides similarly decorated with light blue, white and gold scrolling foliage against an opaque pink enamelled ground, scalloped flange
