The rectangular inro decorated in gold takamaki-e, aogai, simulated lead and gold foil on a glossy black lacquer ground with three locks, two as confronted dragons with shell shafts, the interior in gold fundame; fitted with a soft-metal bead ojime with various geometric patterns and a kagamibuta netsuke, the russet iron plate cast with a soft-metal figure of Daruma standing on a floating reed in high relief, set into an ivory bowl
