Of typical 'boat' form with lobed cartouche-shaped foot, the exterior engraved with a band of spiralling and flowering vine panels overlaid by rectilinear split palmettes, a band of arabesque cartouches alternating with similar roundels above and below, similar motifs around the foot, the upper rim with a band of meandering vine, an attachment loop at each end, the underside of the foot with a later owner's inscription, surface slightly rubbed, traces only of tinning
