The oval toroise-shell box with a silver rim on the hinged cover, the cover inlaid with a central monogram enclosed with foliage and two putti smoking a pipe (one badly damaged), the back inlaid with a woman and a man smoking a pipe and drinking; the small plain oval box with a detachable domed cover
