DAOGUANG IRON RED SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
The bowl with deep rounded sides rising to a flared rim, the exterior finely decorated in white slip with two sinuous five-clawed dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amidst spiralling clouds and covered in a soft turquoise glaze, the interior decorated with five bats in flight.
