With associated blued and gilt double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section etched with sprays of scrollwork and cut on each face with a series of pierced fullers, iron hilt comprising double shell-guard, arms, quillon-block, lobed quillon, knuckle-guard and globular pommel finely chiselled throughout with blued scrollwork and Classical trophies of arms all against a gilt ground, and original silver-gilt wire- and ribbon-bound grip with Turk's heads
