YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)

The addition of either silver or gilt to blue and white porcelain is very unusual, and the use of both silver and gilt together on the present pair of dishes gives an even more striking and luxurious finish.
