The rectangular bevelled plate in a foliate-carved border, in a moulded frame, the cresting pierced with C-scrolls at each corner and centred by confronted S-scrolls framed by rockwork and foliage, the shaped apron centred by a confronted C-scroll cartouche, the reverse with Currie & Co. of Newcastle depository label, numbered in blue crayon '312', the carved angles probably later
