Lot Essay

Messrs, Wylie & Lochhead was founded in 1829 by William Lochhead and Robert Wylie and began trading as undertakers, cabinet makers and furnishers. In 1957 the firm was acquired by House of Fraser and became their flagship department store in Scotland.
