In a naturalistic setting of plants and moss in glazed frame with a paper label inscribed 'GOLDEN PHEASANT. BRED AT HODDINGTON IN 1881. LIVED FOR 4 YEARS IN DEAN COPSE. SHOT BY B.L. SCLATER AND STUFFED BY G. CLOTHIER (BUTLER) IN 1885.'
