The scrolled broken pediment and cornice inlaid with scrolling floral vinery and wheat stalks above a pair of husk-carved mullion-paned doors revealing a silk-lined interior with four shelves, the sides inlaid with trailing husks over a lower case fitted with a pull-out secretaire-drawer with a tooled leather writing-surface, drawers and pigeon-holes and flanked by deep drawers above cabinet doors, on a conforming plinth, the top and base each with printed paper label 'WARING AND GILLOW LTD 180 OXFORD STREET LONDON', the locks stamped 'GR BARON PATENT STRAND', the hinges stamped 'HODGES PATENT LONDON' and replaced, the upper portion wired for electricity
