Oblong and hinged at one end, the top enamelled as a white calling card of 'Albert of Schleswig-Holstein', with a striker at one end, marked on side and inside cover, the cover also stamped 'Birch & Caydon 172 Fenchurch St. London'
2¼ in. (58 mm.) long
The inscription is for Prince Albert of Schleswig-Holstein (1869-1931), second son of Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein (1831-1917) and his wife Princess Helena (1846-1923), 3rd daughter of Queen Victoria.
