INDENT1030 Private John James Nicholls, born Cefn, Cribbwr, Brigend, Glamorgan, was killed in action during the Battle of Loos 27 September 1915 - the first day of the Welsh Guards first battle. He is buried in Aix Noulette Communal Cemetery.
