QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

Jingqi xuan (Pavilion of Peaceful Repose) refers to a pavilion located in the imperial garden Yingtai (Sea Terrace). A very similar three-character mark can be found on a Jun tripod jardinière in the Palace Museum Beijing collection, illustrated in The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum, Porcelain of the Song Dynasty, Hong Kong, 1996, p. 30, no. 25.
