A William IV or early Victorian mahogany longcase clock, second quarter 19th century
The case with broken arch pediment to the hood, wth outset fluted columns, the wavy top trunk door inlaid in satinwood and ebony with an oval, with conforming raised panel below, flanked by inlaid mock pilasters, on a similar plinth raised on bracket feet, the 12in. white dial with painted scene of a hunter and his hounds to the arch and game trophies to the spandrels, the white centre with subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture (centre retouched), with pierced brass hands, with falseplate to the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement, later seatboard -- 91½in. (232cm.) high

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate on the Friday following the sale and every weekday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE SALE.
On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
