Katabori, boxwood with stained details; a good model of an adult tiger with a cub climbing on its back, the parent's head turned to look at the cub, the eyes of both animals inlaid in brass, other details painted red, the stripes rendered in the characteristic Minko manner with wide polished areas contrasting with cross-hatched bands, two himotoshi formed by the parent's front legs and tail, signed with incised characters on a polished oval reserve under the right haunch Minko with a kao
