First edition of a history of the Kings of Aragon. Palau 429.
2 volumes, folio (280 x 194mm). (Occasional minor stains, marginal repairs to first title, vol. II with closed tears into text in 2A4 and 2R3, heavier staining to 3A4v, one small marginal chip, lacking the final index and errata leaf). 18th-century sheep, spines gilt with floral design, spine labels lettered in gilt (some neat repairs). Provenance: occasional contemporary annotations and an early 4pp. manuscript epilogue bound at end of vol. II – Joachim de Lorieri (inscriptions on titles dated 1703) – Agustin Edwards (bookplate and label).
