We are grateful to Marijke de Kinkelder of the RKD in The Hague for confirming the attribution on the basis of photographs. Kinkelder notes 'The free handling and the loose brushwork, as can be seen in the sky, the tiny well-proportioned figures and the colourings are all very characteristic. It is the smallest painting and, so far, the only one of this size we know by the artist.' and probably identifiable as that listed by Schulz, and that listed by de Groot.
