In conjuction with the prepartion in 1906 of the Exhibition of Decorative Arts and Folkloric Artefacts in Kiev, Alexandra Exter travelled inside the Kiev province. Among the artefacts exhibited, ceramics from the Dibintsi area were well represented.
Alexandra Exter became a keen collector of these ceramics and they are represented in some of her 'Russian period' compositions.
