Close to two landscapes by Parigi at the Uffizi (inv. 173P and 176P, M. Chiarini, I disegni italiani di Paesaggio dal 1600 al 1750, Treviso, 1972, figs. 55-56). Alfonso, an architect and engineer as well as a draughtsman, studied under his father, the landscape artist Giulio Parigi.
The attribution to Alfonso was kindly confirmed by Marco Chiarini in a communication dated 10 November 2004. Dr Chiarini points out that 'the red addition of red chalk might be the influence of the landscape drawings by Cristofano Allori'.
