The shallow vessel with an incised fifteen-petalled rosette in the tondo framed by thirty larger radiating petals, a cast band joined to the rim terminating on each end in a bovine head, the ears folded back, the band riveted in place by two loop handles, each in the form of a mythical hybrid monster with feline foreparts, long curving horns, wings and avian legs
