Depicting people in various poses such as a samurai actor, geisha paying a shamisen, a woman being examined by a doctor, and various landscapes including the lotus pond at Asakusa and the iris garden in Tokyo, each plate with a handpainted mount depicting landscapes and traditional scenes and bound in a lacquer album decorated with fans and cherry blossoms
