One side with a draped female seated at the center, a ball in her outstretched left hand, a tambourine behind her in her right, a wreath in the field above, identified by an incised inscription as Ismene, a nude youth before her, crowned in a wreath, with long tresses falling along his shoulders, leaning on a stele, a wreath in his left hand, a mask of a balding man with white hair and beard in his outstretched right, a horned nude satyr to the left, wearing a wreath and filleted beaded bandolier, an oinochoe in his lowered right hand, a flaming torch in his raised left, identified as Posthon; the other side with Aphrodite standing between Dionysus and Eros, all identified by inscriptions, the goddess at the center, moving left and looking back, holding the edge of her chiton in her raised right hand, a patera in her outstretched left, a wreath above, Dionysos to the left, a fillet in his curly hair, a mantle draped over his left arm, a thyrsos in his right hand, a bejewelled Eros to the right, a filleted rosette chain in his lowered right hand; an encircling band of meander and dotted crossed squares below the scenes, laurel below the rim, large palmette complexes below the handles, vertical lines around the handle plates, details in added white
