On circular domed foot, the enamel body and cover with silver mounts at intervals, with two caryatid handles, with painted enamel scenes including Persephone and Hades, King Midas, Pan and Apollo, a triumphal procession for Constantine the Great, and Helen of Troy, the cover surmounted by Athena finial, marked on mounts at base, waist, shoulder, lip, cover, each handle and on finial
