The hexagonal body painted in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear crackled glaze with six shaped panels painted with seasonal bird and flower scenes, the flat shoulders decorated with gilt florets at each corner, fitted with a metal cover pierced in the form of stylized chrysanthemums surmounted with a floret, the foot painted with scrolling vines and geometric shapes
