Oblong, with slightly domed cover, the front engraved with an inscription, marked on side and on cover
10 in. (26 cm.) long
The inscription reads 'Presented to Viscount Cowdray, on the occasion of his marriage, by Midhurst Whites Ltd. July 19th 1939'

Presented to Weetman John Churchill Spencer Pearson, 3rd Viscount Cowdray (1910-1995) on the occassion of his marriage on 19 July 1939 to Lady Anne Pamela Bridgeman, daughter of the 5th Earl of Bradford by Midhurst Whites Ltd., a brick manufacturing company.
