MIDDLE KINGDOM, DYNASTY XI-XIV, 2040-1640 B.C.
Depicted seated on a throne with the feet together, the arms folded across the chest, the right hand fisted, the left hand open, the triangular face with lidded eyes, a straight nose and fleshy lips, wearing a shoulder-length wig, preserving traces of a hieroglyphic text along the back pillar reading in the center column, "An offering which the King gives (to) Osiris, that he may give invocation-offerings for the Ka of the Chief(?), ...neb...kheper(?)," and in the left column, "Made by the ordinary priest, the Venerated One(?)..."
