THIRD INTERMEDIATE PERIOD/DYNASTY XXV, CIRCA 9TH-7TH CENTURY B.C.
Wearing skull cap, probably Ptah, pierced through the top and back of the head, ½ in. (1.2 cm.) high; a black steatite seal amulet of crouching Harpocrates, his right hand to his mouth, the underside cut with ithyphallic figure, First Intermediate Period/Middle Kingdom, early 2nd millennium B.C., 5/8 in. (1.5 cm.); a lapis lazuli falcon-headed scarab, Third Intermediate Period, early 1st millennium B.C., ¾ in. (2 cm.) long; and a green hardstone scarab, Dynasty XVIII (circa 1550-1295 B.C.), ¾ in.
