An embroidered hanging of turquoise satin, worked in silks with peony and butterfly roundels above a turbulent sea-wave border, trimmed with embroidered borders of black satin, made up from a 19th century robe, the borders and some additional embroidery circa 1900--45 x 76in. (114 x 193cm)
