THE DIAL ENGRAVED SCOTT 17 CORNHILL CHICHESTER AND DATED JANUARY 25, 1884
The dial plate with subsidiary dials to the arch for ‘STRIKE/SILENT’, ‘CHIME/SILENT’, ‘CHIME ON EIGHT BELLS/CAMBRIDGE CHIMES’ and regulation, the three-train movement with anchor escapement, the chimes with eight hammers striking eight bells and strike on gong, with pull repeat, the arched ebonized case with applied floral mounts
