An English oak and mahogany longcase clock
The case with stepped flat top hood and outset fluted columns, lacking section of throat moulding to left side, the cross-banded three-quarter length trunk door flanked by fluted pilasters on inlaid blocks, above plinth with raised and cross-banded panel, on ogee bracket feet, the later 13in. square cut away brass dial with later foliate spandrels (one damaged) and silvered chapter ring, silvered and engraved centre with inner concentric calendar ring and subsidiary seconds ring, with signature Tho.s Richardson Weverham, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; composite; case, dial and movement associated, case late 18th century, movement 19th century -- 84in. (214cm.) high
