An English porcelain flower-encrusted desk set
comprising: a shaped rectangular tray with two scroll-moulded handles, moulded with three circular wells, the border applied with generous sprays of flowers, below a shaped rim moulded with pale-yellow scrolls and enriched with gilt; a taper-stick, the sconce with gadrooned rim, upon a flared foot moulded with scrolls and applied with flowers; two globular ink pots and a cover, the cover with flower finial, each applied with flowers below a gadrooned rim, circa 1840 (one cover lacking, damages and repairs), the tray -- 33cm. wide
