An Imari baluster jar and domed cover with shishi lion and rockwork finial painted and gilt with a central band of eagles among fruiting trees between bands of hare, dragon and shishi lion roundels, the neck with butterfly cartouches (the jar cracked, some enamel flaking to the finial) -- 25in. high, 17th/18th Century.
